Here’s a real fun animation of the first song off of our new album, the Comedians’ National Anthem: http://tinyurl.com/9y3ndbt

Please enjoy.

THE SCENE - ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY SHOWThursday, April 12th, 9:30 PM - ???The People’s Improv Theater 123 E. 24th Street, NY, NY ADVANCE TICKET PURCHASE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: $5

So, this is a big deal.
A little over a year ago, Micah and I sat down to discuss re-booting The Scene at the People’s Improv Theater. We had previously ran the show with Reverse 5 back at the old space, but we wanted something a little different this time.  Our goal was to create a weekly improv show that was just as accessible to audiences of non-improvisers as well as improvisers.  We wanted to keep things as simple as possible.
At the time I wasn’t doing much improv and suddenly had the availability to go all in on a new project.  I wasn’t aware of the countless hours I was about to put it, but I’m thankful I was able to dive in at that exact moment. The Scene has been my most important comedy experience to date and I’m proud of what we’ve done so far.
The show’s impact on my confidence as a performer has been immense.  I’ve had the opportunity to play with my heroes, met tons of new friends and helped build an awesome community.  It’s amazing how much can change in a year.
Guys, it’s awesome to make stuff.  Let’s make some more!
